Beautiful set of quotes. A very simple one is “Any fool can know. The point is to understand”. Whilst simple i think it summaries everything wrong with the current education system. We collect facts mindlessly – this is the knowing, but in truth there really is little understanding layered behind this. This creates a generation of humans who can regurgitate facts on demand, but refuse to think differently.
